FAQ

What exactly is a credit?

A credit is our unit of AI compute. Each message costs credits based on the model you pick and the tokens in your prompt + response. The rate is visible on the model picker before you send — no surprises.

Do credits expire?

Monthly plan credits refresh each billing cycle — unused credits don't roll over (keeps pricing honest for everyone). Top-up credit packs never expire and persist even after you cancel.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel from your Account page with one click. No emails, no support ticket. You keep every credit you already have.

What happens to my chat history?

By default your chats live in your browser's IndexedDB — we never see them. Enable Cloud Sync (Pro) to access them from another device. Hit the Fire Button at any time to wipe everything.

Does Yout.chat train on my data?

We don't. We also pass a no-log signal to upstream model providers so they're asked not to log or train on your prompts, where their contracts support it.

Is it really every model?

Yes — GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI and more, plus image, video and voice generation, all under one Pro subscription. No per-model paywalls, no separate contracts.

Is there an API?

Yes. Every Pro account gets a Bearer token (see Account page) and an OpenAI-compatible endpoint at https://api.yout.chat/v1 — point your existing OpenAI SDK at it and every model is yours.
